Acme PAA lies 10 miles north of Sheridan along the Tongue River and adjacent to the Kleenburn Recreation Area. Acme PAA provides access to the Tongue River for fishing, boating, and floating, with additional access to adjoining state land for hunting opportunities. A primitive roughened concrete boat ramp allows users to launch boats, and park in the adjacent graveled lot. This lower section of the Tongue River provides great fishing opportunities for small-mouthed bass, catfish, brown trout, and seasonal usage by rainbow trout. Along the river you will find, waterfowl, turkey, mule deer, whitetail deer, and pronghorn antelope. Acme PAA can be reached by taking Exit 14 off I-90, right on to Acme Road, and travel approximately 1 mile to destination.
