The East Fork Richie’s-Vible Public Access Area (PAA) is adjacent to the abandoned town of New Fork, was established in 2012 as a walk-in fishing easement. The East Fork river, is a 25 mile tributary of the New Fork river hosts a variety of fish including Brown, Rainbow trout, Mountain Whitefish and an occasional Snake River Cutthroat trout. The parking area is located 14 miles south of Pinedale, WY. The 20’ fishing easement is closed to pedestrian fishing Sept 15-Oct 15 each year for livestock operations. Boaters’ rights to float and float-fish within the easement are not restricted by this closure as long as boats are not beached, or stopped on land. No hunting, shooting, camping, fires, motor vehicles, bicycles, horses, dogs, or other pets are allowed within the 20’ fishing easement. The access road and parking area are not plowed during the winter season.
