The V-Cross Public Access Area (PAA) is a 40 acre Wyoming Game and Fish Commission owned parcel of land with a parking area that provides access to Bridger-Teton National Forest lands. A variety of wildlife inhabit the access area and surrounding national forest including: Antelope, elk, moose, deer, Sage grouse, and waterfowl. No overnight camping, open fires, fireworks, shooting, grazing, or off road motorized vehicles are allowed on the access area. Access to the adjacent USFS lands by pedestrian or horseback only. All pets must be leashed or otherwise controlled. From Kemmerer, WY head northeast on Highway 189 for approximately 5 miles, then make a left turn onto Sweetwater County Rd 306. Continue on CR-306 for 24 miles and then make a right turn onto Fontenelle-Forest Road/CR-334. Continue on CR-334 for 7.4 miles to the parking area on Minnie Holden creek. In adverse weather conditions 4WD is recommended. The access road and parking area are not plowed during the winter season.
