The Wind River-South Parker Public Access Area (PAA) is located on a an easement on the upper Wind River, southeast of Dubois. The PAA is accessed directly from US Hwy 287/26 and has a single parking area adjacent to the highway. Wind River-South Parker provides parking for fishing access only, no camping, fires or hunting. Fishing for cutthroat, brown, and rainbow trout, and mountain whitefish is excellent on the Wind River. The Wind River-South Parker does not have a boat launch. In the riparian areas along the river moose, whitetail deer, mule deer and Pronghorn antelope are common. The Wind River-South Parker PAA is southeast of Dubois, WY.
