Vault restroom at the Wedding of the Waters Public Access Area near Thermopolis

CODY- The vault restroom at the Wedding of the Waters Public Access Area south of Thermopolis will be temporarily closed April 26-28 while the structure is replaced. During this time, no public restroom facilities will be available at the site. The public access area including the boat ramp will remain open.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission, which owns and manages the access area, performs routine upkeep and maintenance at the site. As part of ongoing maintenance, the vault restrooms have been scheduled for replacement. The restroom will be closed while the old structure is removed and replaced with a new, more functional structure. Both above-ground and below-ground elements will be replaced.

The Bighorn River near Thermopolis is a premier trout fishery in Wyoming that routinely attracts anglers from around the state. The most popular access point is at the Wedding of the Waters Public Access Area and boat ramp.

Game and Fish asks that visitors using the access area help keep the area clean and free of litter.
